It was a fun escape to photograph in Santa Barbara and it was a funny story how I got booked for this wedding. One of my past clients and friends, Brit Lindsey, met Erika's (Bride) mom in a park in Oregon and they recommended me. I ended flying from SF to meet Erika and Cheyne in LA to discuss their day in August in Santa Barbara! Somehow all the places aligned and we all came together for their beautiful day!
Erika and Cheyne had such a great celebration at Elings Park in Santa Barbara. I loved how they decorated the park with paper bag lanterns illuminating all the paths and lawn games during cocktail hour. Each spot at the ceremony had cushions and pack of puffs kleenex, a nice touch, along with their sand mixing ceremony that combined the sand from both of their hometowns. Thanks for allowing me to capture your day!
All the flowers were done by Erika's Aunt - she did a great job!
