Another Singapore Pre-Bridal Shoot - Samuel and Lucinda

I had the pleasure of shooting again with Yu Hsin of TinyDot Photography for Samuel and Lucinda's pre-bridal photos. We explored some more of Singapore that I have not seen yet - The Marina Barrage, some cute shophouses in Chinatown and the airport that airforce one flies into! It was a fun, HOT day capturing the two of them! I loved all of Lucinda's dress choices for the shoot, they were so bright and colorful and they photographed great. The balloons as a prop was a fun touch too. Thanks Yu Hsin, Lucinda and Samuel for letting me come along!

Singapore Pre-Bridal Shoot - Julius and Joan

I am sure by now most of you know I am living in Singapore for the next year with my fiance, Jason. It has been an easy adjustment to the heat, food, and culture but what I have been missing the most is my work and trying very hard not to be referred to as a tai-tai, which in Singapore is a housewife. I have been loving photographing all of our adventures and places we visit but have truly been missing photographing beautiful brides and people!

However, this last week, I had an amazing opportunity to capture a pre-bridal shoot in Singapore with Yu Hsin of TinyDot Photography. I emailed Yu Hsin before I got to Singapore because I found his work to be really engaging and real. It was even more inspiring to shoot with him, he has a very artistic and methodical way about his shooting style and the way he approaches his subjects. You might ask what a pre-bridal shoot is, since I asked the same thing! It is a 6 hour shoot where the bride gets in her dress with full hair and makeup done and goes around the city with the groom and takes photographs! They also do one to two outfit changes! Joan and Julius will be getting married in May and they were my first ever pre-bridal shoot and were surprised to find out that I photographed weddings in the states and had never done one of these before. I told them I didn't think the American bride would go for it, because of everything that goes into it and having your groom see you before the big day in the dress! But hey if any of my brides are up for it let me know! :)

This is from inside of Ben and Jerry's - have to say it is the biggest B&J's I've ever seen, they even had a bar and band set up! And you would never know from these photos it was inside an ice-cream shop :)

Introducing Ally Rose Rogin!

I am so happy that I was able to be around for Ally's first week! She was the last photoshoot I squeezed in before heading off to Singapore for a bit. She was born on January 8th to two fabulous parents Robyn and Alex. I had the pleasure of documenting her inside of Mommies tummy a few months back before she graced us with her beautiful presence. Robyn and Alex are just going to make the best parents! I can't wait to see her grow up! See more photos in the SLIDESHOW

Jackie and Tory's Wedding - San Francisco

Celebration was happening in San Francisco a day early, before ringing in the 2010 New Year because Jackie and Tory were getting married! It was a great day and a perfect way to end 2009 with a classic and beautiful city wedding. The bride and groom and their wedding parties began getting ready at the Fairmont Hotel with, I have to say, the best view I have seen of the city from the top floor. Then it was off to the church at Notre Dame de Victoires, followed by a spectacular party at the Bohemian Club. They were such a stunning couple to capture and just about the sweetest couple to work with, thank you for including the JennaBeth team to join you on your big day!
